Today was not my favorite day. I had to go back and see the vet for more bloodwork and a checkup. The good news is I was a very good boy and the needle didn't hurt too bad. I've put on a bit of weight since last time I was here, and they're very happy about that. We'll get the results of the bloodwork in a few days, and we're all hoping my kidney numbers will look better.
After the vet my dad took me out in the yard and we played and relaxed for a while. I found a great new spot under the tree in the back, it's nice and shady and protected from the elements. Don't tell my parents, but if they let me stay outside for a long time this is where I'm going to camp out.
On the way back into the house I noticed that a baby bunny had fallen into the window well and told dad about it. He was able to get it out and returned it to its burrow, so everyone is happy. I'm off to take a nap now, enjoy your Saturday.
